The roles and responsibilities of the CIO are as follows:

• Assist in implementing tasks involving ICT security;
• Determine ICT security requirements;
• Coordinate and manage ICT security training plans and awareness programs, such as the preparation of the Raub District Council ICT Security Policy, as well as risk management and auditing;
• Take responsibility for all matters related to the ICT security of the Raub District Council.
